Photo heavy design
When designing Ethan’s website, we had to make sure that his photos were the main focal point, since that’s his business. This meant taking extra care on image sizes and compression to speed up the site, while still maintaining the quality of the images.
We have his prints set up for sale on Smugmug on a subdomain, and his portfolio on WordPress on his root domain. This gives us the best of both worlds – easy selling of his prints while still having full control over the look, feel, and UI of his portfolio.
